Vollers Corsets are one of the UK’s leading, longest standing high quality corset companies. They came to Webtise looking for a solution to their poor performing conversion rate and website that didn’t reflect their brand.
We quickly analysed the code base and identified a number of reasons why it was causing the site to perform slowly. We also spotted a number of opportunities to enhance the user experience across multiple devices. The results have been great. We’ve seen a conversion rate increase of over 94%.

Vollers Corsets are an elegant, refined brand with a long and incredibly well respected heritage in corsetry – when they came to Webtise, their site didn’t reflect that.
We created a new logo and redesigned the site with a new focus on the heritage of the brand – including a timeline and shoppable lookbooks.
The end result was a refreshed site that their customers loved as it better reflected their upmarket brand. The refreshed Magento design contributed significantly to the 94% increase in conversion rate that Vollers Corsets saw after the new site went live.
Webtise upgraded the Vollers Corsets website from Magento 1.7 to the latest version of Magento 1.9. This gave the site better security, as well as offering a number of performance enhancements including site speed improvements and more flexible backend functionality. This meant the site was significantly easier to manage for Vollers and their online business became much more efficient.
The new custom theme developed for Vollers was also highly customisable. It was simple for Vollers to change banners, imagery and copy across the site rather than having to submit requests for someone else to do it.
To reaffirm the position of Vollers Corsets as an upmarket, elite manufacturer of corsets, Webtise developed bespoke ‘Made to Measure’ functionality on their new website.
This allowed customers to order a completely unique corset in a fabric and colour of their choice, as well as specifying their exact measurements. This showcased the fact that no two Vollers Corsets are identical, with each one based on traditional handwork. It proved to be a valuable tool for improving conversion rate across the site.
Webtise have achieved some phenomenal SEO results for Vollers Corsets with organic traffic increasing by more than 20% since the new SEO strategy was implemented. This firstly involved auditing and removing any underperforming pages that were bloating the sitemap, and creating unique, quality blog content that could be shared by industry influencers.
Webtise also created a ‘Little Black Book of Burlesque’ campaign, where some of the highest profile Burlesque performers from around the world told Vollers why they loved performing. To date it has reached of over 84K through social channels alone.
